If you will have enough of experiments on the breadboard, be sure to try the soldering of parts. At the very least, you will have to solder the pins to the Chinese modules, and when you create your own PCBs, all the parts are attached by soldering. It is easier to solder through-hole components. A bit more complicated is the SMD component soldering, because their dimensions are small.
